About differential diagnosis of ankle sprain.
About differential diagnosis of ankle sprain.
Consider ligament injuries: bifurcated ligament, triangular ligament, Lisfranc ligament, peroneus tendon, distal tibiofibular ligament.
As complications of fracture and dislocation, peroneal tendon dislocation, lateral malleolus fracture, osteochondral damage, anterior calcaneal fracture, fracture of risfuran ligament attachment part tear fracture, and fifth metatarsal fracture are considered.
In children, unlike adults, ligament attachments are biomechanically vulnerable and may result in tearing fractures.
